March 12th Topic: Critical Thinking for Program Managers "What did you think about today?" Dr. Mark Wentling, PMP BIO: Mark has been active in Project Management since the mid-90’s while on active duty with the US Army and with the defense industry since his retirement from the Army in 2002. As an Army Officer, Mark held multiple positions during his service, including leadership, academic, and programmatic. He led defense projects and programs for Northrup Grumman (Huntsville, AL), VT Miltope (Montgomery, AL), and Micro Systems (Fort Walton Beach, FL). In 2006, he rejoined the Government as a civilian Portfolio Manager with the US Navy, where he led the DoD’s efforts in Autonomous Control of Unmanned Air, Surface and Land Target Vehicles (Patuxent River NAS, MD). Mark holds a BA in Business from Columbia, a Masters in Program Management from New England College, and Doctorate in Business from Capella University. Mark is currently retired and focuses his time on academic research and consulting.
