WELCOME

 

May we first start off by saying THANK YOU for being a huge part of our chapter. Please know that what we do would be nothing if it wasn't for you!

 

While COVID is still present within our communities and workplaces, the need for collaboration in this new reality is needed more than ever before. PMI South Alabama is here to help YOU and is dedicated to the art of advancing the practice and profession of project management in both a conscious and proactive manner. Our goal is to ensure you're successful and put you in direct contact with those who can help along the way.

 

Project Management exists in all cases and spaces of our work. When you think about it, our daily rountine is nothing more than a project that we aim to complete at the end of each day. Our biggest project involves finding new ways to connect with YOU, our members. In doing so, we're always happy to receive feedback and encourage you to reach out as we work together toward success! 

 

We welcome all who wish to participate with us and join the board. Regardless of your certification, skill, or ability, there's plenty of work to be done and would appreciate the opportunity to have your experience and wealth of knowledge onboard. The channels for new volunteers are always open for you when considering to become a board member, and elections are held yearly during the month of October. If you are interested, fill out the “Volunteer Form” found in the “Get Involved” tab (top of this screen) (LINK).

 

If you are new and just want to learn from others, then there are several events each year that need volunteers to help. Check out the “Volunteer Opportunities” found in the “Get Involved” tab above (LINK).

 

For those of us who just need a little help locating some resources for maintaining your PMI certifications, we have several PDU awarding events every year.
